Veronica Mars movie is not happening and it’s the final decision of the creators. Earlier this year, there has been a plenty of rumors about the movie version of Veronica Mars. Since then, it has been the hot-topic of discussion among the fans of the series. Rob Thomas, the show creator, also showed his interest in the project but it all could not be worked out. Ultimately, the fans are given the bad news that there would no Veronica Mars movie.

It all became public during an interview with Veronica Mars actress Kristen Bell. The lady said in a sad tone, “I don’t think it will ever happen, and here’s why: [Series creator] Rob Thomas and I had a powwow, and we were both 100 percent on board. We took our proposal to Warner Bros. and Joel Silver told us that there is no enthusiasm [there] to make a Veronica Mars movie, and that is unfortunately a roadblock we cannot compete with”.   She also asked the fans to launch a letter-writing campaign to get the things back on track. So, Veronica Mars won’t hit the theatres soon or may never. When Kristen has no hopes, how you and I can have?

Well, being very honest, I always have doubts regarding the movie version of Veronica Mars. It’s a series which struggled to complete its three season. What made it to struggle for survival? Of course, the low ratings! And, now tell me what one could expect from the movie version of such show. Even then, it would have been great, if Veronica Mars movie could have released! A little ray of hope still exists. Celebrities don’t take time to get their words back and to make new announcements. Example is in front of us. It has not been very long when we’re given assurance that Veronica Mars would return. And, as of now, everything is put to an end. Let’s see when the next official announcement comes out!
